Kangaroos & Wallabies

Kangaroos are Macropods, a family which includes the wallabies, wallaroos, pademelons, potoroos & bettongs. Macropods are herbivores, and depending on species may have a wide diet including native grasses, vegetation, leaves, mosses and fungi. Being marsupials, they are born extremely undeveloped and kept in the mother’s pouch for a prolonged period during early development. The young exit the pouch once fully-furred and continue to consume mother’s milk until weaning on to solid foods.
The milk of kangaroos changes significantly in composition over the course of lactation. We make 4 different stages of Kangaroo Milk Replacer to cater for the widely different nutritional needs of the developing joey. Our products also include dietary supplements, teats & accessories for kangaroos.
