Ingredients

Directions

To make 30mL of nectar mix 1 scoop of powder (9g) with 24mL of warm water.

To make one litre of nectar mix 300g of powder with 800mL of warm water.

Store prepared food refrigerated for a day or frozen in ice-cube trays for up to 2 weeks.

 

Maintenance Feed Guide

Feed rates are based on Glider Nectar making up 80% of daily energy intake. If a significant proportion of energy is obtained from other food sources then reduce the feed volumes accordingly. Overfeeding can cause obesity, so monitor body weight of individuals. Offer acacia and eucalypt gum branches, native blossom and invertebrates daily.

 

Breeding and Growth

Mix 75% Glider Nectar powder (3 scoops) with 25% Wombaroo High Protein Supplement (1 scoop) and make up nectar as per above directions. Feed as a breeding diet or to supplement growing or underweight gliders.
